There are options for virtual consults as well as home visits based on need.
Lactation consultation
For any stage of breastfeeding
You can expect a thorough history and assessment of you and your baby(ies). We will assess barriers to an effective latch. We will provide a weighted feed to assess for effective milk transfer. We create an individualized plan, make recommendations and offer tools to improve latch and milk transfer. We will collaborate and make referrals when needed to improve function.
Initial lactation consultation starts at $300
All follow up appointments will be scheduled by your lactation consultant based on need.
PRENATAL BREASTFEEDING CLASS
Prepare for success
In this class we will review the benefits of breastfeeding. What to expect after delivery, breastfeeding within the first hour, colostrum, and milk transition. We will discuss how to establish a foundation for good latch/breastmilk supply in the first days. We will talk about normal newborn feeding cues and normal newborn feed/sleep patterns. Lastly we will define your breastfeeding goals. Private prenatal breastfeeding class starts at $200
BOTTLE SKILLS
OVERCOME BOTTLE FEEDING ISSUES
Working through bottle refusal or bottle feeding challenges? You are not alone. Many babies struggle with taking a bottle and it can be for a variety of reasons (none of them are your fault) We will work together to get to the root cause of why your baby won’t take a bottle and overcome the hurdles to get them feeding comfortably. After your appointment you will be given an individualized care plan with oral exercises and bottle feeding practices. Plan to keep in close contact with us for up to 2 weeks after the initial appointment for updates and possible adjustments to your plan of care. Most of the babies we work with are successful with the bottle within two weeks of working together. $200

LATCH AND LEARN
A BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT GROUP
This monthly breastfeeding support group is offered to grow community, build relationships and offer breastfeeding support and resources throughout your breastfeeding journey. Motherhood is full of new experiences and we believe that surrounding yourself in community will allow you to feel supported in this journey. This is a FREE support group, at the Westfield Memorial Library, the first Wednesday of every month.
